What to wear to the Theatre

Hey Fashionistas, I recently saw the play Ghost in the West End and getting dolled up was a challenge. Going to the Theatre is a step-up from seeing a movie so the aim is to look à la mode but with an ease. It made me think I may have a number of readers in the same boat hence my style guide for today. I’ve come up with three different looks that could be worn to this event. The first outfit is for a sexy date night, the second piece is for a night out with friends while the third is a grown-up look! See the deets below:

Date Night: Team a sparkly tank with a chiffon asymmetric skirt and accessorize with a pop of colour just like these Red Yves Saint Laurent courts. Men are fond of this hue so up the ante with this shade for your significant other.

Night out with friends: Rocking a bright top with embellishments and dark skinny jeans not only taps into your youthful side but would definitely get you noticed in the crowd. Nude shoes are the perfect accessory to pull your look together. Très chic and simple!

Grown-up Look: If you’re a vintage or trend fanatic, well this outfit is for you! Serenade your top half with this season’s biggest pattern – Polka dots and add a midi skirt in mustard for a vintage yet modern twist. Clashing patterns are huge this season so pairing your outfit with leopard print sandals aren’t a stretch too far! Enjoy dolls.
