Hey you Stylish Dolls, cropped jackets are everywhere at the moment so why not get accessorised in style with 2010 Spring/Summer ’s must-have! They are your ultimate get-up-and-go-piece while maintaining the uber-coolness we all love our clothes for. They have some great colours.

I’ll suggest you try and avoid the conventional black ones as we are almost at the time when we get sunshine so spring up your wardrobe with some vibrant colours such as fuschia or turquoise. With these colours, I’ll say keep the focus on the jacket with fundamental colours (Black, grey, white). Primark carry a wide range of T shirt dresses, vests and shirts. These are perfect for this structured cover-up.
For curvy Ladies, this garment is best suited for you because it’s really figure flattering and concentrates on shortening the torsos of long waisted women. So if you’re looking for something more tailored than your average cardigan, the cropped jacket is an effortless way to layering perfection!

I think I speak for everyone when I say it’s a nightmare looking good and staying warm right now! well with these few tips you could be stylish this winter! There are some essentials you’re going to need:
1. Winter Gloves: These are really important for keeping you warm and I’ve found leather to be the best! I invested in a set of prada black ones with Gold trimming last year and it’s been my most treasured companion this season!? Come into the new by investing in some with lace or studs. Miu Miu have a beautiful range for a reasonable price or go for Phillip Lim for luxe pieces.
2. Coatigan: These are just great! Definitely cosy, chic and warm! I’m not a fan of the conventional coats and if you’re like me opt for this! I got one from Karen Millen and it’s simply glam without taking focus away from your outfit.
3. Wellington boots: Trust me when I say these are your BFFS in the snow! For me, winter glamour couldn’t ask for a better shinning armour. it’s very simple. Wake up, see the snow outside, tuck your jeans into them and for those of you working i’ll suggest wear them and change your shoes at work! I invested in two from Christian Dior and Burberry although Hunter is one of the leading brands for wellies!
4.Ankle Boots and/or Over-the-Knee Boots: Both of these are simply fierce and go with everything from jeans to dresses! They are the must-have on your winter glamour list. My absolute favourites are my Carvela ankle boots with gold studs and my Christian Louboutin grey ankle boots! Dress them up or down, it depends on the occasion! with OTK Boots, you couldn’t be more on trend! Rock it with jeans, vest tops and cardigans! Lots of them! Layering is huge this season! OTK Boots put the SEX in SEX-Y!!
Well, those are the main items you need! Scarves and/or Snoods are good as well! Remember the whole idea is to stay warm and look great! I’m pretty sure with some of these, you’ll do just fine and get through winter looking glamorous!

I’m pretty sure from the title, you’ve guessed it’s going to be a challenge to pull this look off but i trust that with a little guidance you stylish lot will have this number making both men and women jealous! You just need a few rules to follow so here goes! Does anyone remember when Yves Saint Laurent came out with silver cage shoes and we all thought this was never going to stick? Well they are back and have never looked better!
This is one of those statement heels you shouldn’t knock off until you’ve tried it! The key word here is Edgy! Edgy! Edgy! I’ll say wear it with a harem jumpsuit, or skinny jeans with a casual top! The whole idea here is to keep the focus on the shoes! Another fabulous way of pulling this off is with the latest trend for denim – Harem Jeans!
Many designers have jumped on the bandwagon and produced some fierce skycrapers! I recently bought a pair of cage inspired nude shoes by Miu Miu from Net-a-Porter while Cheryl Cole featured her dressing room on her ITV show with hers in Black. These shoes are simply amazing and surprisingly comfortable. They would definitely take you to new fashion heights!
With Cage shoes, you make a statement without saying anything leaving people around thinking you’re oh-so-cool, edgy and you’ve got swag! Just remember you’ve got to keep everything else simple and push yourself over your limit. Want to reinvent yourself? Cage shoes could be a healthy place to start!

In the new Fashion decade, Leopard prints have become the latest accessory to covet! Ladies, the best part is you don’t have to do a lot to look ever-so-chic! All you need for this trend is one piece! it could be a pair of shoes like Kate Bosworth, a scarf, a jacket or a handbag just like Kate Moss! Whichever one you choose, keep it to the minimum, because you would end up looking like an animal on a safari and we don’t want that so steer far from it!
I absolutely love leopard and I finally got my Louis Vuitton Scarf after such a long time! it’s totally worth every penny. For those sexy recessionistas out there, you could get the best looking qualities at high street stores such as Topshop, Urban Outfitters, Bershka and Zara. Leopard has an element of sheer class, the touch of effortless glamour and with an edgy wildness!
Also they go with almost every colour in the winter! Try Leopard shoes with red lipstick or prehaps a red dress, or opt for a winter classic with all black but my personal favourite has to be leopard with anything purple! The hues are dynamic and fun!! No matter how many times you rock this, you’ll never fall far from being on trend!

Sequin is everywhere so why don’t you indulge in something young, fun and vibrant! It comes in everything… Skirts, tops, jackets, hats, belts, bags, jumpers, leggings, literally everything! I’m really into sequin jackets because it gives off a bohemian feel to your outfit and they are fabulous on skinny jeans. And the best part? You will not be turned a blind eye once you step out in any of these. I mean which girl wouldn’t want to be noticed?I will say stick with sequin dresses, jackets, leggings and tops, they are the most flattering.
Topshop, Zara and H&M have a selection of these favourites. Never ever wear all together!! The key is to keep your sequin choice to a minimum (i.e only a top or skirt for instance not both) or you will end up looking ridiculously weird which is far from point. It’s oh-so chic and I personally feel that Sequins are gonna stick around for long time, so get on it Ladies because it’s your time to sparkle!

Hey Fashion Access readers, you might be puzzled by the above title but GRL is here to simplify it. To wear something free with an effortless twist, a slouchy long cardigan can do the trick! I bought a grey one from Matalan the other day and just wrapped it around with a white top underneath! Very simple! I accessorized with one cocktail ring on each hand from Yves Saint Laurent and I used a Miu Miu brooch to hold it in at the waist.
In the book “That extra Half an Inch”, Victoria Beckham always emphasised the beauty of wrap dresses but if you haven’t got a wrap dress like me, maximise your options with long cardigans and if you think a brooch is too fancy play it down with a waist belt. The key is to have fun with it… Do something out of the box!

Fashion Access reader, Simisola Osomo, got the opportunity to style Rihanna for the Inglorious Basterds Movie premiere on the 23th of July, 2009 at Leicester Square. I was very excited when she agreed to do an exclusive quick interview for Fashion Access!
GRL: Where did the style inspiration for the outfit come from?
Simisola Osomo: I worked closely with someone else and it was both our first time so we were nervous.The look was inspired by Rihanna’s fierce style and we incorporated the Coco Chanel look as this is the most anticipated fashion movie out in England at the end of the month.
GRL: Where you involved in her choice of make-up?
Simisola Osomo: Rihanna is fantastic with make-up. She did it all by herself but I suggested red lipstick as all her fans would know she loves that colour and it also gave the outfit the effect it needed.
GRL: How was it working with Rihanna in general?
Simisola Osomo: We had to be professional. All I can say is Rihanna is a lovely girl and made the long hours worth it. It was really nice and the press reviews were good which is the most important thing.
GRL: Are you going to keep doing this then?
Simisola Osomo: Working with Rihanna was the first time I ever did anything like that. What can I say? You never know where the wind blows. I’ll keep you posted.
